Counting down...

A couple "before" photos for ya's. In less then 10 days there will be a total transformation thanks to these lovely ladies, Aubrey and Jenn, our store designers. Also shown is our homie, Ryan Flynn. He's a photographer and does this cool skateboarding blog called Atlanta Hates Us.

ouch. Movin' day ..wouldn't have made it without our HELPERS!

Wow ok. So last sunday was the crazies quickest moving day I ever had! It took only two hours because we had such rock star helpers. There was 7 to start and add two extra for the unload. It was amazing and we thank you guys. It is crunch time and maggie and I are hurting our brains trying to get it all done. Aubrey and Jenn our store design elves are working hard too! We're having a painting weekend if you're interested in helping... And we have a NEW LOGO!!! Check it.

The Heat is on!

Long time, no communication! We are working like elves, bees and...dogs to get ready for our re-opening date which is May 1st. Let me tell you, running an official business is not easy! So many things to learn and be on top of. (Does anyone want to give us a crash course in Quick Books? Volunteer to paint? Be our new intern?) But we couldn't be happier about the new spot we finally found.

I love that it's in between Little Five Points and Virginia Highlands and the new Inman Park district. I ate at Manuel's Tavern last Sunday while visiting the Spring Art Show (awesome job, I.C.E. and Laura Winters) and sat at the window watching all the pedestrians and bikers go by. I love it! It will be great to be a part of a busy community with so much going on.

Speaking of I.C.E., they are now taking applications for their Summer '08 show, AKA "Lucky Number 7". The show will be on June 7th at Centennial Olympic Park and it's gonna be a blast as usual. We are so lucky to know the organizers, Christy and Shannon, and are grateful to them for blowing up indie craft in Atlanta and for being such supportive friends to us. Ok, ok, I'll stop now.
