New jewelry and hair accessories from the Weekend Store. Adjowah Brodie designs her pieces using recycled vintage accessories. Hair pins made with watchfaces and necklace made with vintage typewriter key pictured above. Say what?
Letterpress printed postcards from Rar Rar Press. I especially love the "it's not that far really world edition" postcard. You can mark your and your missed one's locations on the front side.
Snazzy, unique brass chain rings incorporated with faux gemstones or vintage buttons and vintage opaque Swarovski crystals from Honeydoux.
Earrings with vintage glass beads and contemporary brass shapes also from Honeydoux. Classy lady!

This is the last week of the Linda Hall's "The Beast In Me" show. So make sure to stop before it's gone. Also in boutique news, we still have a wide variety on sale items, including prints by Erin Tyner. The next upcoming show is "Fraternal Instincts" featuring works by Andrea Wedig and K.Allyson Petty. Here's a sneak peek:
The premiere of Beautiful Losers is this Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. in Atlanta! It will be shown at The Plaza Theatre and is presented by AIGA Atlanta. It will also be shown September 26th - October 2nd. Art work will be provided especially for this event by Mint Gallery. This is a great opportunity to see documentation of an art movement that has effected many of us personally and has made a great mark on art history.

Thanks to everyone who made it out last night to Linda Hall's solo exhibition. We will be posting photos of her work on our Flickr account soon so be sure to check back. An excerpt from Linda's artist statement:
"... I produce alter egos for both human and non-human animals that emphasize their interrelation of identity - an interrelation that also speaks to the deep interconnectedness of life in the age of catastrophe in the natural world by global warming and other manifestations of the physical intrustion of humans in the natural world...
